President's Message
Thank you for supporting the merger of the ASL Foundation with the ASL Society. Your vote for approval has launched the legal processes of bringing these two entities under one organizational umbrella. It is also causing us to reconsider our constitution and to draft bylaws. Scholarship Information Now Available
Five annual general chapter scholarships of $1200 and one of $1500, plus two annual Triangle Club: Second Century scholarships in the amount of $1200 are available to scholarship applicants this year.
For the 2008-09 academic year applications for the Alpha Sigma Lambda Adult Education Foundation are divided into two separate and distinct categories with separate time frames.
- Applications from the Triangle Club: Second Century Chapters must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2008.
- Applications from all other chapters must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2008.

Since 1983, more than $122,000 has been awarded to over 148 recipients. Scholarship applications are mailed out to all chapter councilors in January, with awards being announced in June.

Make your induction more meaningful by handling the lamp and embellishing the description as you wish just as you may include your chapter name meaning or candle-lighting ceremonies with the ritual. Polish with pure bees wax for a lovely shine.
