Alpha Sigma Lambda Adult Education Foundation Scholarship Winners announced

Regisby Regis Gilman, Foundation president

The 2004-05 Foundation Scholarship Committee was pleased to review 88 entries this year, all worthy of recognition in different categories of scholarship and leadership in their communities, their institutions, and in their ASL chapters. The Committee was particularly impressed with the amount and a variety of leadership activities described by the candidates. The enthusiasm and clarity with which faculty members declared their support for the candidate added greatly to the overall impressions presented. It is with great pleasure that the Foundation recognizes the increasing number of deserving adult students with complex financial needs balance home, family and a genuine zest for life while working toward the completion of their personal and educational goals.

The Foundation’s Scholarship Committee also recognizes that leadership and support provided by the ASL chapter councilors. We are grateful for the work you do on behalf of each member of your chapter, and in particular, each scholarship applicant.
