University College ASL Student Recognized

At this year's induction ceremony on March 18, University College of Widener University made a special presentation for Donald Ellis, University College student and Alpha Sigma Lambda member passed away tragically in fall 2006. Ellis was just a few credits shy of completing his Associate of Science in Information Systems degree, and due to graduate in May 2007. University College presented his Associate Degree posthumously to his very proud family, whose inspiration encouraged him to return to school to pursue his dream, at the annual Alpha Sigma Lambda Induction of new members ceremony.
Nancy Ellis is Don's wife, to was presented his posthumous Associate in Science in Information Systems degree. The photos below are of her and Don Devilbiss, Assistant Dean of UC, and of Nancy and Emily Richardson, Dean of UC. Also is a photo of Nancy, Emily and Dr. Jo Allen, Provost, presenting her the degree.
