Alpha Sigma Lambda awards scholarships to assist adult learners financially while earning an undergraduate degree.

 OUR NEED

Alpha Sigma Lambda recognizes that adult learners who are seeking an undergraduate degree are often in need of financial assistance. In most cases, earning a degree would not be possible without some financial help.

 THE OUTCOME

Alpha Sigma Lambda currently sets an annual goal to increase the number and dollar amount of scholarship awards. In 1985, ASL awarded three scholarships at $500 each. In 2019, ASL awarded thirteen scholarships at $3500 each.

As the premier nationally recognized honor society for adult learners with a 70 year established history in higher education, Alpha Sigma Lambda represents the top non-traditional students for more than 300 institutions across the United States.
